鏡湖在蕪湖市可是個家喻戶曉的地方，外地人來蕪湖必看的一景。現在的鏡湖風景優美，是市民休閒的好去處。可你知道以前的鏡湖是什麼樣子嗎？聽我給你講講吧。

在上世紀90年代中後期，鏡湖的水體呈高富營養化狀態，水質嚴重惡化，水變成了黃色。惡化的原因主要有：蕪湖市某醫院通過地下水道將大量未經處理的污物、污水直接排進了鏡湖；部分素質不高的市民往鏡湖裏倒垃圾；最可氣的是鏡湖風景區的某些工作人員竟然在鏡湖裏洗拖把！慢慢地，鏡湖水變成了黃色，湖面上漂浮着許多垃圾，還散發着一股臭味。來到鏡湖邊的人們都捂着鼻子跑開了，嘴裏還不停地說：“真臭！臭死了！”

一九九九年DDD二０００年，蕪湖市人民政府號召全市人民清理鏡湖。首先，工作人員用機器將湖水抽乾，再由黨員帶頭和市民們一起挖掉淤泥，最後注入清澈的水。我外公是黨員，他有着親身體驗，外公說，那次勞動很累，但改善了鏡湖的水質，大夥兒都感到很高興。

現在人們的環保意識增強了，再也沒有人往鏡湖裏扔垃圾、排污水了。當你來到鏡湖時，你會看到一片清澈的湖水，水底游來游去的`小魚，湖水旁婀娜的垂柳和剛長出來的青青的小草。

有了90年代的教訓，我們一定要做個講文明的好孩子，要保護鏡湖水質，保持生態平衡。

Every day, when the child gets up, their parents help him to make the room clean. They also get breakfast ready for their child. When the child is free, they can sleep or do other things, but they needn't do any housework. So many children can't cook; wash their clothes, some don't even know how to clean the floor. That's too bad.

In the future, many families will have computers. We can work on the computer instead of going out to do everything. The children also can learn on the computers, so they don't need to move! After a long time, we'll become fatter and fatter. We won't be able to do anything by ourselves!
