As you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! You know all this is real as long as you are confident,passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways,approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. 大家好！
兩年前，我從xx英語教育院校畢業，躊躇滿志地從大學校門裏走出來，滿懷信心地踏進了這滿是孩子們的天堂。在我開始接任四年級二班的英語教程那一刻，我的心情忐忑不安，不知能否把課上好，當我真正走上工作崗位，走上四二班教室的講臺時，面對一個個鮮活可愛的面孔，面對一雙雙求知的眼睛，我總是一次次默默的告訴自己，要努力，要加油，要成爲深受學生歡迎的好老師。
有人說兒童是一本書雖然要讀懂這本書並非易事，但要成爲一位出色的教師就必須去讀它，有人說，兒童是花木，教師是園丁，園丁悉心照料着花木，但需要尊重它們自然地成長。實際上，兒童比花木要複雜的多，教師的工作比園丁的工作也複雜的多，儘管他們擁有着共同或共通的規律。法國文學家雨果在他的詩裏曾經寫到：“花是尊貴的，果實是甜美的，讓我們都來做葉吧，因爲葉，是平凡而謙遜的。”我覺得這首詩就是爲教師寫的，因爲教師就像那默默奉獻的綠葉，時時刻刻襯托着鮮花的嬌豔。今天，在慶祝教師節的日子裏，我榮幸地站上這方講臺，誦讀這樣意味深長的詩句，即將開始我至真至誠的講述，我心中無比激動，也感到萬分的驕傲自豪。
時光匆匆，轉眼間我已走過了四年的從教生涯。雖然在大家看來這段時間有些短暫。但細數往昔歲月的點點滴滴，我還是要長嘆：生活原來給了我們那麼多感動。爲了這真情付出後得到的感動，我一直在追求着。剛剛參加工作時，信心百倍。記得第一次以教師的身份走進課堂，感覺一切都是那樣美好。然而，醉酒方知酒味濃，爲師才知爲師難。一段時間之後，我先前良好的`自我感覺早就一掃而空，面對一羣求知慾渴的孩子們，我才真正意識到教師職業是何等的艱辛和瑣碎，三尺講臺站上去容易，要站好可真難啊！
每個人都希望自己的人生風和日麗，鶯歌燕舞。但月有陰晴圓缺，人有旦夕禍福，挫折和失敗總是不斷地踩痛我們的心。我們是把失意的怨氣撒在孩子身上，還是收起此時內心的苦楚用微笑面對純真可愛的孩子？我想沒有人願意選擇前者，因爲你的心中有愛！魯迅先生有句話“教育是植根與愛的”。是的，愛是教育的源泉，教師有了愛，纔會用伯樂的眼光去發現孩子們的閃光點，纔會對自己的教育對象充滿了信心和愛心，纔會有追求卓越的精神和創新的精神。
今天，我是一名小學英語教師，愛我的學生，我會像母親一樣無私和不求索取；愛我的學生，我會像手足一樣把心和他們貼得更近；愛我的學生，我會像朋友一樣與他們風雨同舟；愛我的學生，我會不溺愛不袒護，在他們跌倒時，鼓勵他們勇敢的站起來！我相信“人民教師”這光榮而神聖的稱謂，它總能讓我擁有無窮的力量。
