I do not know who wrote those words，but I have always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it.
We can take the mysterious，hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine，just like a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.
We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed，we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds，we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all，we harvest nothing at all.
I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the reminder of our lives.
The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will effect it.
Each day will brings with it new frontiers，in our homes and in our businesses，if we will only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

時光匆匆，轉眼間我已走過了四年的從教生涯。雖然在大家看來這段時間有些短暫。但細數往昔歲月的點點滴滴，我還是要長嘆：生活原來給了我們那麼多感動。爲了這真情付出後得到的感動，我一直在追求着。剛剛參加工作時，信心百倍。記得第一次以教師的身份走進課堂，感覺一切都是那樣美好。然而，醉酒方知酒味濃，爲師才知爲師難。一段時間之後，我先前良好的自我感覺早就一掃而空，面對一羣求知慾渴的孩子們，我才真正意識到教師職業是何等的艱辛和瑣碎，三尺講臺站上去容易，要站好可真難啊！
每個人都希望自己的人生風和日麗，鶯歌燕舞。但月有陰晴圓缺，人有旦夕禍福，挫折和失敗總是不斷地踩痛我們的心。我們是把失意的怨氣撒在孩子身上，還是收起此時內心的苦楚用微笑面對純真可愛的孩子？我想沒有人願意選擇前者，因爲你的心中有愛！魯迅先生有句話“教育是植根與愛的”。是的，愛是教育的源泉，教師有了愛，纔會用伯樂的眼光去發現孩子們的閃光點，纔會對自己的教育對象充滿了信心和愛心，纔會有追求卓越的精神和創新的精神。

If your self—perception is that you’re too lazy，too busy，too unworthy，too unfocused，too depressed，or too dependent on others to accomplish great things，then you’re right. You are that because you believe you are，but in fact，you can change that！Life is change，and the past doesn’t equal the future. Your reality today is the result of your past beliefs and actions. Change your beliefs and actions，and you will change your future. Whether you think you can or you can’t，you’re right. You are what you think.
