此刻，人們最終明白，躺在草地上睡覺遠比在公交車上打盹舒服，而煙囪裏冒出的黑煙遮擋出的陰影也沒有大樹下的陰涼涼爽。綠色，纔是生活的本色。
人，只是自然界的一種動物。人的祖先是猿猴，那是生活在森林裏的動物，身邊到處都是綠色，吃樹葉，住樹杈，進化到此刻的人時，自然還保留着對綠色原始熱愛的基因。在我看來，此刻人追求綠色生活，更像是返祖現象，在高樓林立的城裏住久了，想到森林裏住幾天，所以，許多人熱衷於野營、野炊便順理成章了。
人在吃膩了大魚大肉之後，發現蔬菜竟是那樣可口，於是人真的像動物一樣，追求各種鮮嫩的蔬果。更有越來越多的人開始生吃食物，由生菜到生肉，就像祖先那樣茹毛飲血，生撕活拽。動物的本性在人類身上一覽無遺，人似乎又過上了原始生活，叫上羣居的哥們，去找鮮果，去覓生肉……
找個開闊的地方挖個坑，把自我埋進去，吃點水，然後直愣愣站上半天，可能只會腰痠、背疼和腳麻，人不是植物，不明白植物在土中的自在和滿足，只明白自我在土中疼痛難忍。所以，人還是應當回到房子裏，種幾盆花，在院子裏或陽臺上留一些草。我們不能生活在土裏，就讓它們替我們生活在土裏。人總是聰明的，自我做不到的事總會讓別的東西替我們做。人耕不動地就找到了牛，人夜裏得休息就找到了狗看門，人不能每一天定時起牀就找到了雞打鳴。所以，當人發現自我不能在土中生根發芽時，就出現了盆景。
綠色，是充滿活力的顏色。當人看到大片綠色時，心中會有一種壓抑許久的衝動，那是老祖先留在我們心中的東西，一向在支配着我們，流露在生活的'每個地方，如院牆外的幾棵樹，陽臺上的一盆花，碗裏新鮮的青菜，玻璃缸裏的水藻和金魚，等等。
其實，我們一向在追求“綠色生活”，只是此刻的污染和機械的工業禮貌讓這種追求更加衝動，表現得更加淋漓盡致。百年來追求經濟發展的工業化的趨勢，最終放緩，先污染後治理的思想最終受到阻擊。人們開始關注自我生活的綠色，意識到工業和科技不是生活的全部，僅有護衛好生活中的綠色，才能得自然之理，發展科技和工業!
追求綠色生活，是祖先遺傳下來的天然基因的爆發，是一種人與自然“和好”的聰明之舉，值得表揚。
