There are some primary schools and secondary schools stipulate that the student bring the cellphone to school is not allowed. There is a lot of discussion about whether the students use the cellphone is good or bad.

The supporters think the cellphone is widely used today, the students usually keep themselves in touch with their parents or guardians via the cellphone any time. As for the security issue, the cellphone is necessary. On the other hand, the students can use it as a tool of study. They can search the study materials on line by using the cellphone, it will cut down much cost of the time, make the study more efficiently.

And other people think that the juveniles is not matured enough to use the cellphone in the right way. There were some reports said that some students used the cellphone to cheat in the exam. And also, many parents found that their children would attain some inappropriate information from the net service on the cellphone, it is not easy to supervise that. What the worst result is, they become a cellphone addict, stick to the cellphone anywhere anytime.

There are the advantages and disadvantages of the cellphone, I think the most important of all is how to use it as the best tool of our life instead of letting it control your life.

Suppose someone gave you a sealed, solid-colored pen. You couldn't see how much ink it had. It might run dry after the first few tentative words or last just long enough to create a masterpiece (or several) that would last forever and make a difference in the scheme of things. You don't know before you begin. Under the rules of the game, you really never know. You have to take a chance!

Actually, no rule of the game states you must do anything. Instead of picking up and using the pen, you could leave it on a shelf or in a drawer where it will dry up, unused. But if you do decide to use it, what would you do with it? How would you play the game? Would you plan and plan before you ever wrote a word? Would your plans be so extensive that you never even got to the writing? Or would you take the pen in hand, plunge right in and just do it, struggling to keep up with the twists ? Would you write cautiously and carefully, as if the pen might run dry the next moment, or would you pretend to believe that the pen will write forever and proceed accordingly?

And of what would you write: of love? Hatred? Fun? Misery? Life? Death? Nothing? Or everything? Would you write to please just yourself, or others, or yourself by writing for others? Would your strokes be tremblingly timid or brilliantly bold? Fancy with a flourish or plain? Would you even write? Once you have the pen, no rule says you have to write. Would you sketch? Scribble? Doodle or draw? Would you stay in or on the lines, or see no lines at all, even if they were there? There's a lot to think about here, isn't there?

We are having good living condition.

And most of us are the only child in the family.

Our parents love us so much that we can have what we want.

But some of our classmates don’t take good care of these things.

They throw away their pen and paper.

Some of them even waste food.

I think it is bad habit.

As students, we should make full use of what we are given.

If we don’t need something, we can give it to those who are in great need.

It’s important to save the resources and it’s also our duty.

Somewhere along the line, the generation gap evaporated. Age separates us now and little else. We agree on most everything, perhaps because weve learned there isnt much worth disagreeing about. However, I would like to mention that fly fishing isnt all youve cracked it up to be, Dad. You can say what you want about wrist action and stance and blah, blah, blah...

Ive been happily drifting for a lot of years, Dad, and I didnt see you getting older.

I suppose I saw us and our relationship as aging together, rather like a fine wine. Numbers never seemed important. But the oddest thing happened last week. I was at a stop sign and I watched as you turned the corner in your car. It didnt immediately occur to me that it was you because the man driving looked so elderly and fragile behind the wheel of that huge car. It was rather like a slap in the face delivered from out of nowhere. Perhaps I saw your age for the first time that day. Or maybe I saw my own.

Summer has come, with its warm sunny days, making us thing of all sorts of nice things, such as holidays in the country, picnics and haymaking①parties. When Spring came, she found the earth cold and bare, but she soon changed all that, and by the time Summer arrives, the world is a very different place. It is a green world now, green leaves on the trees, green grass in the fields, green plants crowding in the hedges②, and flowers opening everywhere. The days are long and the nights are short, for the sun gets up early and goes to bed late in sunny June. It is one of the best and brightest months in the year. Birds sing from sunrise till long after sunset. As night falls, one after another the birds stop their singing, and after a few last sleepy sounds, put their heads under their wings to rest for an hour or two before beginning again. They do not all sleep, however. When other birds are silent, comes a soft cry, then, after a few moments, another, louder this time; and soon the nightingale③ pouring out his wonderful song. Not only at night does the nightingale sing. On almost every warm day in early June, the little brown bird sings away in the roads and woods, but, as all the other birds are also singing at the same time, we do not notice his voice so much. It is at night, when he has the field all to himself, that we hear the nightingale at his best.

3)本文作者使用了擬人(personification)手法,文章顯得格外生動:第二段Spring和Summer兩個詞首字母大寫,用 she 指代 Spring ;第三段中的 gets up 和 goes to bed , birds sing ;第四段中的 sleep , cry ;第五段中的 his voice , he 和 himself 都是擬人用法。 4)爲了使描寫生動優美,作者使用了分詞短語 making us think of ,獨產主格結構 green leaves on the trees flowers opening everywhere ,省略句法 then, after a few moments, another , louder this time ,以及傳神的短語 all to himself 和 at hisbest 等。

What does it mean to relax?Despite hearing this term thousands of times during the course of our lives, very few people have deeply considered what it's really about.

When you ask people (which I have done many times) what it means to relax, most will answer in a way that suggests that relaxing is something you plan to do later you do it on vacation, in a hammock, when you retire, or when you get everything else done.

This implies, of course, that most other times should be spent nervous, agitated, rushed, and frenzied.

Very few actually come out and say so, but this is the obvious d this explain why so many of us operate as if life were one great big emergency?

It is useful to think of relaxation as a quality of heart that you can access on a regular basis rather than something reserved for some later time.

You can relax now. It's helpful t remember that relaxed people can still be superachievers and, in fact, that relaxation and creativity go hand in hand.

When I'm feeling uptight, for example, I don't even try to write. But when I feel relaxed, my writing flows quickly and easily.

Food is human’s basic need, yet it differs from culture to culture. Color, aroma and taste have been regarded as the basics of Chinese culinary art. In the long history of Chinese course development, there are many differences between the Southern and Northern tastes. Generally speaking, the southern courses emphasize freshness and tenderness; while the northern courses are oilier. As a typically southerner, I prefer freshness and pure flavor. So my favorite food is steaming fish.

Steaming fish is a classical Guang Dong dish. It’s famous for light, soft and slippery taste. The material must be fresh, and the cook must control the heat to make sure the fish remain tender and pure. Put the fresh fish in the pot to steam for 8 minutes with mild heat. Before the dish is finished, add a spoon of oil and some chopped green onion and a spoon of soy sauce, and then the steaming fish is done. My mother is very good at cooking this course. I really love the way she cook the fish, not only maintain the original flavors of the fish, but also provide with enough protein.

The Games of the 29th Olympiad in 20xx are awarded to the city of Beijing.

The International Olympic Committee selected the Chinese capital as the 20xx host in Friday's vote during Juan Antonio Samaranch's last IOC session as president. The attraction of staging the Games in a country which has the world's largest population, as well as huge economic potential, won the IOC's heart.

Beijing defeated four other bidding cities, including Toronto and Paris, to secure the country's first-ever Olympics. Osaka was the first city to go out, and it only took one more round for Beijing to win the Olympic race.

The announcement, read out by the 81-year-old Samaranch, was answered with wild jubilation from the Chinese delegation in Moscow, and with fireworks in Beijing. IOC senior member Kim Un-Yong said after the voting that Beijing deserved the Olympic Games.

Beijing is capable of staging a great Olympic Games, said the 71-year-old South Korean. The result wasn't a surprise to me.

With the motto New Beijing, Great Olympics, Beijing promises to host a Green Olympics, a Hi-tech Olympics and the People's Olympics.

The 3,000-year-old city is becoming a truly international city and showing a new, vigorous image through its ongoing economic reforms.

Beijing enjoys the widest popular support among the five bidding cities. A Gallup opinion poll commissioned by the government showed 94.9 percent of the public in favor of it. The IOC's own surveys found support even higher. The Chinese government has pledged to spend 20 billion U.S. dollars building sports complexes and refurbishing the Beijing infrastructure. There are plans for a new exhibition center with twin skyscrapers that could be taller than any in the world.
