Beijing Opera

Now let me say something about Beijing Opera. Beijing Opera is very popular in China. It has a history of more than 200 years. During the reign of the Qianlong emperor in the Qing dynasty, Qianlong had a interest in the local opera. In 1790, to celebrate his eightieth birthday, he summoned opera troupes from different places to perform for him in Beijing. Four famous troupes from Anhui province remained in Beijing after the celebration. In 1828, A Hubei troupe came to Beijing and often performed together with the Anhui troupes. The two types of singing mixed together and gradually a new type came into being known as Beijing Opera. Now is the performance. I hope you will like it.

I took a flight in Beijing Airport. I got there early. I had my bag weighed first. After a while I began to get on the plane.

When I sat on the plane, Boeing 737, I fastened my seat belt. Then I looked out of the windows, seeing the ground running backwards. When the plane began to take off, I felt it interesting very much.

During about 2 hours’ flight, I saw a film and had a delicious meal. Then the plane began to get lower and I got to Xi’an safely.

首先我們來介紹一下我們班英語老師——嵇老師。這是一位對學生負責到任何副科都能把你留下來的人。她很會叮，星期五一天來六趟。比公交車還勤快。“你，默寫錯三個，今天中午留下來”“你看看你喲，spendtimedoing還錯，你還能幹什麼哦。”每天都能聽到她嘮叨的聲音絡繹不絕的從教室裏傳出。

她強調着，咆哮着，可是默寫不過關的人越來越多，老油條們仍然不及格。他繼續着他一個人的戰鬥。所有學生的默寫都成了抄寫。但她仍繼續嘮叨着。同學們上有政策下有對策，形成了微妙的制衡形式。

這是應試教育逼出來的。在中國，學英語的人比美國的還多。但只有五百分之一不到的人正真使用過。大部人一畢業就拋到腦後了。人們學習英語的那個瘋勁呀，跟喝了伏特加差不多。

他們被羣體蠱惑了。防毒防核等安全知識人們已經十分疏遠。就爲了過那個死分數線。多少人爲了飯碗，失去了精神上最寶貴的東西。

英語在中國已被玷污爲應試教育飯碗的購買券，早已喪失了作爲工具的本能。希望有人會注意到這一點吧。能和我同樣的人有多少呢？
