給我上英語的老師是姚老師，她不但溫柔、可愛可敬，而且很負責。她一頭短髮，明亮的眼睛炯炯有神，個子不算太高，但是我十分喜歡她。

上課的時候，她總是微笑地望着我們，讓人一點也不害怕。但她也有發火的時候，聲音像打雷！但從她那張好看的嘴裏說出來的話總是那麼的親情和動聽，讓我們聽着停止就入神了。她有時會大聲批評 同學，有時調皮的學生犯了一個小錯誤，她就變着法子說服教育，讓他自己認識錯誤，並改正。

記得在給我們上第一節課時，說的話是那麼的動聽，下了課我也學着老師的語音說：“同學們好！”我覺得實在太酸了！我們的老師很嚴，如果哪個同學沒有做作業，或者沒有交她就要罰，但是，她只 是輕罰，我還是感謝她的嚴格要求和愛的深遠。有一次，我英語作業本上寫錯了一個字母，她讓我把這個句子抄寫了一遍，我不服氣，幹嗎？把這個詞組寫一下不就行了嗎，幹嗎這麼麻煩！她似乎看懂 了我的心思，對我說：“我不是要罰你，我是讓你牢記這個教訓，慎重對待每件事。”我牢記這句話，從此再也沒有犯個這個錯誤，我也敬佩姚老師的盡責盡業，無私忘我的精神！在她的生活中除了工 作還是工作，在她的心中，除了學生還是學生，她把自己全部的精力和時間都傾注在我們身上。她曾說：“我如果不教你們，就不是你們的老師，但我一當上你們的老師，我就會盡心盡力把你們教好， 我希望能向身邊同學學習，要像我一樣，自己擔當一件事，就要幹到底，負責任！”我到現在都還浮現出那句話。
