午飯剛過，我就和媽媽匆匆忙忙趕到新華書店去看書。

Just after lunch, my mother and I rushed to Xinhua Bookstore to read.

一進書店大門，我驚呆了：人真多啊！但是，人們都在安安靜靜地看着書。

As soon as I entered the bookstore, I was shocked: there are so many people! But people are reading quietly.

我和媽媽各自挑選了幾本喜愛的書，找了個僻靜的角落，席地而坐，開始看了起來。

時間一分一秒地過去，當媽媽擡眼看錶時，發現已經快五點了，媽媽說：“我們回家吧！”我央求媽媽再讓我看一會兒，她無奈地答應了。

As time went by, mom looked up at her watch and found it was almost five oclock. She said, "lets go home!" I begged my mother to let me watch it for a while, and she reluctantly agreed.

等媽媽再次催我回家時，時間已經六點了！這回輪到媽媽央求我了：“快點回家吧！時間不早啦！”我也無奈地答應了，戀戀不捨地跟着媽媽回家了。

路上，雖然脖子因爲看書太久又酸又痛，但我一直在想：如果可以住在新華書店，把所有的書看完，那該多好啊！
