這一天，我們會來到墓前，放置一束鮮花，燒上一些紙錢，藉以表達我們對親人的思念和祝福，並在心裏默默地爲他們祈禱，祝福他們在天堂的那一邊能夠和我們一樣，幸福和快樂地生活着。此時，我們不禁會回憶起他們曾經和我們共同度過的那些歲月，那些畫面彷彿還歷歷在目，想到這些，我不禁悽然淚下。

曾幾何時，在漫長的革命鬥爭歲月中，有多少我們武進的英雄兒女，爲着民族的解放、人民的幸福，把鮮血灑在家鄉和異地。他們中有的千古留名，有的卻連姓名都不知道，但他們都是爲了一個共同的目標走到了一起，那就是爲了共產義事業而奮鬥。先烈們拋頭顱、灑熱血，前赴後繼，在敵人面前寧死不屈，一身傲骨，表現了大無畏的英雄氣概，爲我們後人樹立了榜樣。他們是我們的驕傲，是我們的光榮!

“風雨梨花寒食過，幾家墳上子孫來?”吟誦這句詩句，不免給人添上了一份傷感。這句詩好像更適用，難道古人有預知未來的本領。在科技高度發達的今天，似乎人們都已忘記了祭祖這件事，更多的是在清明節遊山玩水，的確清明節的另一個活動就是踏青。作爲新世紀的青少年每年有多了一個活動——瞻仰民族英雄，爲共和國的烈士掃墓。如果沒有這些民族英雄和革命先烈用鮮血和生命換來今天自由、民主、和諧的社會，就不會有我們的未來。

正是因爲烈士們用鮮血和生命換來了我們今天的幸福生活，換來了今天的和平和安寧，我們才得以在舒適的環境中快樂地學習。也許我們無法體會戰火紛飛的時代的艱辛，但我們明白了幸福的來之不易。我們所要做的就是努力學習科學文化知識，繼承和發揚先烈們不屈不撓的拼搏精神，隨時迎接困難的挑戰!

“日暮笙歌收拾去，萬株楊柳屬流鶯。”爲共和國的烈士掃墓的道路是沉重和莊嚴的。所以我們不能忘記先烈們的精神和遺志。我們用這種方式寄託我們的哀思，繼承先烈們的遺志，以高昂的精神面貌，投身到學校生活和社會主義建設中去。青山肅立，綠水長歌，我們將永遠銘記和頌揚革命先烈的事蹟，繼承先烈的遺志，爲祖國的建設貢獻力量!

Literally meaning "clear" (Qing) and "bright" (Ming), this Chinese festival falls in early spring, on the 106th day after the winter solstice. It is a "spring" festival, and it is an occasion for the whole family to leave the home and to sweep the graves of their forebears. Chinese being practical people this sweeping of the graves is given an extended period, that is, 10 days before and after Qing Ming day. Among some dialect groups a whole month is allocated.
