小升初英語語法總結：形容詞原級的用法

形容詞是修飾名詞、表示名詞屬性的詞。學習形容詞，很重要的一部分內容就是形容詞的比較級、最高級。關於比較級、最高級的構成，之前已經有所歸納，請看形容詞比較級的構成方法。

現在我們要說的是一些具體用法，今天先從形容詞原級說起，此後還會說到比較級和最高級。

1. 形容詞原級可以被 very，quite，so，rather 等詞的修飾

1)very 非常

This is a very interesting book. 這是一本很有趣的書。

注：very 也可以接形容詞最高級，表示強調。格式是：the very + est結尾的.形容詞最高級或是不規則形容詞最高級。例：the very lowest price 最低的價格

2)quite 相當

It's quite cold this morning. 今天早晨相當冷。

3)so 那麼

You are so fast. 你那麼快。

4)rather 有些，頗

I think you're rather unkind not to stay. 我想你不留下來有點太不友善了。

2. 在 as…as 和 not so…as 的中間形容詞常用原級

1)as…as 表示相等

This knife is as sharp as that one. 這把刀和那把一樣鋒利。

He is as tall as I. 他的個子和我一般高。

2)not so…as, not as…as 表示"不如"

He's not so clever as his brother. 他不像他的兄弟那麼聰明。

as+形容詞或副詞原級+as

1)在否定句或疑問句中可用so… as。

He cannot run so/as fast as you.

2)當as… as 中間有名詞時採用以下格式。

as +形容詞+ a +單數名詞

as + many/much +名詞

This is as good an example as the other is.

I can carry as much paper as you can..

3)用表示倍數的詞或其他程度副詞做修飾語時，放在as的前面。

This room is twice as big as that one.

Your room is the same size as mine.

4) 倍數+ as + adj. + as <=> 倍數+ then + of

This bridge is three times as long as that one.

This bridge is three times the length of that one.

Your room is twice as large as mine.

Your room is twice the size of mine.
